These are the actual images taken of the Solar Eclipse.   I took an image every 20 seconds, however for the image above I have chosen a image approx every 11 minutes to show the sequence from start to end.

First Contact: - 5:01:41 PM Western Australian Daylight Savings Time

Max - 6:.02 PM  Western Australian Daylight Savings Time  (Obstruction of the Sun by the Moon 22.2%)

Last Contact - 6:56:16 PM  Western Australian Daylight Savings Time

I used a JMB Type A Solar Filter on the LX200R which results in the Sun being seen in a pleasing natural golden yellow colour.  In this collage, I have represented the colour of the Sun at the centre of the collage as White, as its our colour reference for our visual word and if it where possible too look at it with our naked eyes,  it would be white.  The time shifted images around its centre is what the camera sees in relation to our colour reference caused by the Solar Filter.
